Abstract

SUMMARY

Spectral optical coherence tomography (OCT) is an irreplaceable and qualitative research method for diagnostic
of eyes diseases, especially diabetic retinopathy. Its’ informativity are significantly higher than in the previous
generation of tomographs because of the high scanning speed and resolution ability. Different directions of the
obtained results, extensive diagnostic abilities and dynamical observations are makes spectral OCT one of the
accurate and universal diagnostic methods for morphological studies in ophthalmology.
