Abstract

SUMMARY

In the presented rare clinical case was described the development and clinical manifestation of ocular alveolar
rabdomiosarcoma of a 10-year-old patient. The patient presented to the hospital with swelling of the upper eyelid,
ptosis and mild exophtalmos. Surgical treatment, chemotherapy and radiation therapy were performed. In spite
of this, the patient suffered a recurrence twice. It was possible to perform organ-preservation treatment including
repeated surgery with chemotherapy.
