SUMMARY

Pituitary body adenoma is one of the most common intracranial neoplasm that lead to the neuroophthalmologic
symptomatology. The expressiveness of visual symptoms in pituitary body macroadenoma depends on its size and
duration. It must be noted that most of pituitary body which is above Turkish saddle has a tendency to increase, and
may also invade the cavernous sinuses and sphenoid sinuses. While diagnosing the pituitary body macroadenomas
the ophthalmological, serological and radiological methods of examination are used.
