Abstract

SUMMARY

The aim of the work is to assess the degree of risk of the primary disability due to glaucoma. The comparison
of age composition of persons with disabilities with it for the patients and popula-tion was conducted. The average
age of the patients has been set at the time of primary examination in MCEC (54,3 ±0,27 years old). It has been
shown that the small part (<40 years old), while the big part is over 50 (84%). The disability risk over 50 (4.14) is
more than 20 times higher than the same at 30-34 years old (0.18). The data on disability age risk can be used to
plan priority patient monitoring.
