SUMMARY

Aim – investigation research of the kinetic characteristic of lipid triad in a retina and blood in the experimental diabetes caused by Ditizon.

Material and methods
Research was conducted on 74 rabbit males weighting 3,0-3,5 kg. The experimental model of diabetes was made by intraabdominal administrations of ditizon in a dose of 35 mg/kg. According to the change of the content of triglycerides, phospholipids and nonsaturated fat acids we conclude about the violation of lipid exchange.

Results
It is established that the experimental diabetic retinopathy of rabbits is followed by sharp violation of lipid exchange in the retina and blood. Against the background of noticeable increase of the content of triglycerides there takes place a reduction of the maintenance of various fractions of phospholipids and nonsaturated fat acids, especially hexa-, penta- and tetra acids with double communications. More noticeable violations characteristic of lipid exchange comes in the second half of experience.

Conclusion
Thus, it is possible to conclude that the diabetic retinopathy causes change of lipid structure in biological membranes of the retina and membranes of blood elements.
