Abstract

SUMMARY

Aim – to evaluate of the effectiveness of the preparation Xiloial-mono in the treatment of dry eye syndrome in soft contact lens wearers.

Material and methods
50 patients examined at the National Centre of Ophthalmology named after acad. Zarifa Aliyeva during 2014- 2015 represented in the years of, treated the material of investigation. The patients were divided into 2 groups. Preparation Xiloial-mono by Farmigea were prescribed to 25 patients of the second group.

Results
The stability of precorneal tear flm was noted in all patients who used the preparation Xiloial-mono.

Conclusion
So, it is advantageous to use Xiloial-mono for prophylaxis and treatment of dry eye syndrome in the wearers of soft contact lenses.
