QURU GÖZ SİNDROMUNUN MÜXTƏLİF KLİNİKİ FORMALARINDA KATİON NANOEMULSİYASININ EFFEKTİVLİYİNİN QİYMƏTLƏNDİRİLMƏSİ

SUMMARY

Aim - to evaluate the efficacy of Cationorm in evaporative and mucine deficiency forms of dry eye syndrome.

Material and methods
The study included 30 patients (60 eyes). The age of patients ranged from 19 to 31 years (average 25.5 ± 3.4).
For the treatment of patients in both groups, a cation nanoemulsion was used - the preparation Cationorm. All 30
patients received Cationorm four times a day for three months. A month after the use of the Cationorm drug in
patients of both groups the period of the Norn sample increased, the severity of conjunctival folds decreased.
All patients underwent a comprehensive standard ophthalmologic examination for the diagnosis of CVD:
visometry, biomicroscopy, fluorescent staining, Norn's test, Schirmer test, evaluation of the function of meibomian
glands, LIPKOF test, measurement of tear meniscus.

Results
The follow-up period was 3 months. All patients after 2 weeks, 1 month and 3 months re-conducted a
comprehensive standard ophthalmologic examination.
Compared to the rates before the instillation of this drug, after 1 month of use, 71.4% of patients in group I
showed a positive change in the Schirmer test by 40%, and in 28.6% of patients in the same group, the percentage
of change was 46%; in 66.7% of patients in group II, this figure was 32%; and in 33.3% of patients - 44%.

Conclusion
Thus, the effectiveness of cationic nanoemulsions - the Cationorm preparation made on the basis of the
NOVASORB® technology - has been established. This preparation does not contain any preservatives, therefore,
there is no undesirable toxic effect on the eye tissue. Considering this, we believe that Cationorm is a logical choice
for the majority of patients with CVD in need of lipid- containing tear replacement.
