Abstract

SUMMARY

Terson's syndrome is the intraocularhemorrhage as a result of subdural hemorrhage, intracerebral hemorrhage
ortraumatic brain damage. In 8-44% of cases, subdural bleeding is accompanied by Terson's syndrome.
The aim of the study is to observe the early diagnosis and clinical course of intraocular bleeding with Terson's
syndrome. In the presented clinical case, the patient had a history of subdural hemorrhage and an intervention
performed by a neurosurgeon - craniotomy, as well as complex treatment including: dehydration, antioxidant,
angioprotective therapy.
Against the background of the treatment carried out by the neurosurgeon, positive dynamics were noted: the
patient’s visual acuity recovered, the condition of the fundus normalized.
