SUMMARY

The methodology of integrated assessment of disability burden based on the analysis of eye diseases ranks by
various indicators has been developed for the hrst time (level of disability, age of the disabled, their lifespan).
It has been shown that integral assessment of medical and social burden of diseases can more accurately
characterize the priority of preventive measures.
