Abstract

SUMMARY

Assessment of risk factors of failure of trabeculectomy was studied. This study involved retrospective evaluation of 130
consecutive patients (130 eyes) with primary open-angle glaucoma. All patients had undergone primary trabeculectomy.
The age younger than 50 years, initial high intraocular pressure, presence of exfoliation, far advanced stage of glaucoma
were identihed as risk factors of failure.
